Due to popular demand I ended up making another readathon. This time it’s a blend between reading and BTS (yes you guessed it, the kpop group). I’m late in announcing it since we start tomorrow (oops) but here are the prompts and my TBR!
Prompts:
Here are the prompts! It’s based on the latest BTS album. Now you don’t need to complete every prompt. The whole readathon is just for fun and I know some of you might be in a reading slump. So complete as many prompts as you like.
Some have asked about the HOME prompt. For this you can read any genre or book you want but you should read it with a BTS bookmark that I’ve provided! I’ve made one for each member so you can print our your bias! (again, you don’t have to. Some didn’t have printers and whatnot but either way use whatever you want.). You can also join whenever you want.
You can get the bookmarks here!
Readathon runs from August 20 to September 20. All kinds of books are allowed (Graphic novels, Audiobooks, ARCs, and everything in between)
If you post your TBR and bullet journal spreads do tag me so that I can see.
The tag is #Readathonofthesoul2019
TBR
Persona: Own voice book that represents you
I’ve been told that City of Brass by S.A Chakraborty is set in a Middle Eastern setting and has POC characters so clearly this is the book for me. I’ve been so excited to read this, and I guess now is the time to start it.
Boy with luv: Romance book or love in the title
I might have a chance to read Frankly In Love by David Yoon (if it gets to me in time) if not then I’ll be finishing Don’t Date Rosa Santos by Nina Moreno.
Mikrokosmos: Book that means a lot to you or by an author that changed your life
And I need to finish Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare as I’ve said about a million times. I’m trying to take my time but I also want to finish it so I can know how it ends!
Make it right: Book written by more than one author
There’s a possibility that I might get my hands on Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I haven’t found another book yet in case this doesn’t happen but I’m going to leave this here for the time being.
HOME: Read a book with your BTS bias!
I’m going to continue A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer with my bias!
Jamais Vu: Book about mental health or a book you read that you can’t remember well
Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor deals with some Mental Illnesses like PTSD and trauma. This will also help me continue this massive book.
Dionysus: Diverse book or a book with greek mythology
I finished Nevernight the other day and I loooooved it! I’ve been told Godsgrave is pretty diverse so I guess this will be going here.
Bullet Journal Spread
Oh my gosh, this looks like so much fun! I’ll definitely try and participate XD
