I think March is one of my favorite month in terms of blog content, reading, and creativity. For one I actually followed the tbr I set for the month and I had a couple of new and fun posts up on the blog. Not to mention my creativity really sparked! Although it did start off a bit jarring with university closing because of the virus. We switched to online classes for now and no one knows what the next month will bring us. But I’m trying to be positive in the middle of all this. Either way let’s get to all the amazing books!
March Reads
1- The Oracle Code by Marieke Nijkamp & Manuel Preitano
Got an arc of this and you guys I’m in love with all the young adult books that DC is releasing! This was one of the ones that I got the chance to read early. It was flipping fantastic!

2- Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare
This book deserves all the stars! my highly anticipated and it was everything I wanted it to be and more. This book is officially everything to me and that’s all I can say. My review will express the rest of my emotions for me.

3- The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu
This was interesting! Loved the new concept of the story. Such a different retelling than what we’re used to. It was a little slow which is why I had a bit of a hard time pushing through but I enjoyed it quite a lot.

4- Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab
I finished this audiobook in one day! all thanks to Scribd for their 30 days free offer. Adored this story. V.E. Schwab never disappoints no matter what genre the book is!
Rating: 4/5
5- House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas
If I could give this book 100 stars I would. I personally adore Sarah J. Maas’s books. I always end up getting attached to the characters. This book was no exception. Oh my God those last 200 pages just messed me up. I haven’t cried while reading a book in a long while but this managed to get me to do just that (along with Chain of Gold).

6- Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo
I wanted to read this series before the show came out. I got to Shadow and Bone last month and I enjoyed it but I enjoyed this one much more. I felt like I flew through this one. At least initially. I put it down for some time to pick up some other books but this was so much more enjoyable than book 1! I felt like the endings were sort of similar but I’m hoping to read book 3 soon too.
Rating: 4/5
7- The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller
This was fun and definitely a quick read but it wasn’t exactly what I expected. I still really enjoyed it but there were some things that didn’t really make sense to me. I guess I thought it would go a little differently.
Rating: 3/5
8- Shadow of the Batgirl by Sarah Kuhn & Nicole Goux
Ah I loved this! I’ve gotten so into these graphic novels (as you all already know), and of course this one was no exception. Absolutely loved it. All of these have different art styles but they’re all so pretty to look at.
Rating: 4/5
9- The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
This…wasn’t supposed to be here. I got an arc from Tor Books (Thank you so much to them!) 3 days ago and I just….devoured it. I was going to read it in April but clearly things didn’t go as planned. Either way, this is one of my favorite reads this year. That’s all I can say. Words have failed me.
Rating: 5/5
10- An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
Loved Sorcery of Thorns with all my heart and just had to give this one a try too. This book was so fun! It was really whimsical and I’m really glad I gave it a try. I wish there were more books by this author that I could devour.

April TBR
With Imagine Me comes the end of a series that I’ve loved since middle school. I was disappointed with the book before this one but I’m hoping I’ll enjoy the last one at least. Red Rising is one I’ve been wanting to get to for some time now. It’s a favorite for one of my bookish friends on Twitter and I’m planning a new reading series on my blog. Bone Crier’s Moon is one I’ve heard a lot about and I’m hoping it’s as good as it sounds!
Looks like you had a good reading momth! I hope April is just as good!
I really want to read Bone crier’s war sometime soon as well!

Wow, it looks like you read some amazing books in March. And I hope I don’t sound rude or like I’m trying to correct you or anything, but did you notice that your mini review for The Kingdom of Back is literally a copy/paste of your mini review for Chain of Gold, which seems odd since one is rated 3/5 and the other 5/5.
I hope you have another wonderful reading month in April!

Thank you so much for telling me! I must have pasted it by mistake at some point while I was writing. Got that fixed thanks to you.
Hope your April is a good one too!

Oh yay! We’ve all copied and pasted, and then forgot to edit before. I know I’ve hit publish on a post only to realize hours later that I forgot to write an intro, instead leaving the placeholder Intro at the beginning.

I’m hoping April will be just as good but tbh I’m feeling a slump coming on 😭 Addie LaRue is up for request on Edelweiss if you use it!
You too! Hope you’re doing well and are safe.
Please do pick it up! It might take a while to get through but it’s amazing!

Oh no, that’s sad hope is only for the first days of the month and nothing else. I’ll see if I can get it, but for some reason fantasy as ebooks are hard for me to read 😦 But I promise I’ll try to pick it up as soon as I can.
