5 Star Predictions #2 | 5 books and 5 different genres, will they deliver?

Pink Cute Chic Vintage 90s Virtual Trivia Quiz Presentations

It’s time for a 5 star prediction post! So many books are on my list for this year, and although I’m taking things slow I still want to predict if some of these reads will be 5 star reads or not. I obviously hope these books blow my mind but you never know. Here are some of my book prediction!

5 Star Predictions

Pride and Prejudice is my first classic. I’ve always wanted to read this but my intimidation of classics is on another level. I did however set a schedule for myself for reading this. I’m currently 6 chapters in and I’m here to report that I’m really really enjoying it. Who even am I? Let’s hope it really is a 5 star read.

Pachinko is giving me 5 star vibes. I don’t read much historical fiction but it’s a gut feeling and one that I hope I’m not wrong about. I’ve heard amazing things about this and I’m so excited to get to it this month.

The Shape of Thunder is a book I know I’m going to love. I read Other Words For Home by Jasmine Warga and she stole my heart with her writing. Will I love this enough to give it 5 stars? I guess we’ll see.

Death on the Nile reminds me a lot of Murder on the Orient Express. I’m picking this up very soon and I’m really hoping I love it just as much as Orient. Agatha Christie’s books just make you want to get all cozy with a hot drink and read all night long. Orient was phenomenal and I’m hoping this one is too.

Saints and Misfits is one of the books I’m determined to get to this year. I love S.K. Ali’s writing and her Muslim representation. Love From A to Z made me very emotional and ended up being one of my all time favorite books. Best believe I’m going into this one with high expectations.

There you have it, my 5 star predictions for some of the books on my January and February TBR. *Sigh* I truly don’t want to be wrong about these but if I end up enjoying them then I guess that’s good enough.

  1. Hello there. The only book on your list that I have read is Pride and Prejudice – I’ve read it a couple of times and it’s terrific. I’m glad you are enjoying it. I’m going to have a look at Pachinko. I have two books here I think will be 5 star but they’re non-fiction: The first one is R.F.Foster on Séamus Heaney, and the other is Walking With Ghosts by Gabriel Byrne (the gorgeous Gabriel!) It’s a memoir; I haven’t started it yet but I expect to love it. Thanks for your list.

    • Hi there! Oh I read more of Pride and Prejudice last night and I’m so in love with it 🥰 Pachinko is pretty popular so I’m a little worried but hoping it really is as amazing as everyone keeps saying it is. I really hope both those nonfiction books are what you’re expecting!

  3. I hope you enjoy Saints and Misfits! Muslim representation is really important to me as well although I haven’t gotten round to reading Saints and Misfits or Love from A to Z yet – but I definitely intend to 🙂 I also absolutely LOVE Pride and Prejudice so I hope this turns out to be a 5 star read for you!!!
