TBR & Wrap Up | January TBR

Happy new year everyone! I hope this year treats you well and that you have a great start to it. What better way to start the year than with my January to-read list! I’m not the best at following tbrs but here are some I hope to read. Get ready for a wide range of genres my friends!

1- Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson This is The Book Darlings book club pick for January! I love everything the author has written and I have a feeling this will be no exception.

2- A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham – I’ve been getting more and more into thrillers recently and this one is one of my highly anticipated of the year. Really hope this blows me away! (Thank you Minotaur Books for the gifted review copy!)

3- Comfort Me With Apples by Catherynne M. Valente – So this feels very folk-like and these days I’m sort of drawn to stories like that. I don’t know what to expect from it, to be honest with you but it’s a short one and the synopsis really had me intrigued.

4- Sundial by Catriona Ward This will be my first by Catriona Ward. I’ve heard so many good things about The House of Needless Street and it sounds like something right up my alley. I was lucky enough to get a review copy of Sundial and I can’t wait to get to it! (Thank you Tor Nightfire for the gifted review copy!)

5- The Resting Place by Camilla Sten – This one sounds creepy and thriller-like and I just have to read it now. (Thank you Minotaur Books for the gifted review copy!)

6- Daughter of Redwinter by Ed McDonald – I’ve never read anything by this author before. I read the synopsis on Goodreads recently and loved it. Really looking forward to this! (Thank you Tor Books for the gifted review copy!)
