Welcome to my Diversify that Shelf readathon announcement!

I’m so excited to share this! I posted about this a while ago on Twitter and it got so much love. I’m so glad that this was received so warmly and I’m looking forward to starting it with you all. I’m going to make sure this readathon is held yearly but might make it multiple times a year too? I guess we’ll see how this goes.

Copy of the perks of being noura (5)

Welcome to The Diverse Shelf!

This blog series is new. I’ve realized that so far this year I haven’t read as many books by authors of color as I would love to. Welcome to the Unapologetically Muslim Reading Challenge!

My favorite 2020 project yet! This has been in the making for some time now, and I’m finally ready to announce it. I’m dedicating my 2020 to reading more books by Muslim authors. I want to show my support for Muslim authors who do their best to bring us the representation we’ve been waiting for, and the representation that we feel proud of and to raise our voices in literature.

IMG_4584 - Copy

Every year I create my own reading challenges. Mostly because I know what genres/books I’d like to tackle, and I like to spice things up a little bit.

This year I’ve created about 3. One has similar categories to the Harry Potter one I’m about to show you. The difference is that this one is the most unique one yet.

Say hello to my Harry Potter Board Game Reading Challenge!

You can find below images of the challenge, plus a PDF file for you to download the entire thing!
