I think you all know how much I loved reading Pride and Prejudice by now (You can read my review here). My love took me so far as to watch the movie on the very same day I finished the book. If there’s anything a book lover is worried about it’s that the movie won’t do the book justice. I knew how beloved the 2005 movie was to many Austen fans and I was hoping I would be one of them. This movie was exactly what I wanted and more!
Now, how excited do you think I was when I found out about this movie? Love and Monsters was one of my most anticipated movies from last year. I managed to finally see it this month, and let me tell you that I was not disappointed. This was such a fun movie and one that I loved a lot more than expected!
It’s the start of 2021 and my blog content for the year is starting to come together. With that being said I bring to you my mini reviews of the reboot Star Trek movies. Let me start by saying that I am totally new to the world of Star Trek. I watched the three movies over the course of three days in December and might I add that I am in love. I don’t really have enough thoughts for individual reviews so here are my mini thoughts on these movies.
Joker released on the 4th of October last year and really caused a ruckus. You had the people who loved it and you had the people who hated it. Either way the hype was going strong for months after its release with Joker being nominated for multiple Oscars. With everyone talking about this movie I couldn’t help but be transfixed by it and last night was finally the day that I got to see it.
Aladdin has always been one of the many Disney animations that I rewatched over and over again growing up. Surprisingly, the habit hasn’t changed much even now. I’ve been looking forward to watching the live action movie for so long but I only just watched it a few days ago (can you believe it?!). I’ve managed to sum up my thoughts in this little review, so keep reading!
Mary Poppins has been one of my favorite childhood movies for as long as I can remember. I can’t explain how happy and scared I was when I found out there would be a sequel. At first I thought this would be a remake but later found out that it would revolve around the now grown up Baxter siblings, and John’s children. Yesterday I finally watched it with my family and all I can say is you won’t be disappointed.
The movie the world has been waiting for has finally come to an end. I went to the cinema with my heart in my throat, anticipating the events and dreading them all at the same time. This movie managed to bring out so many emotions all at once. Infinity War left us grasping for conclusions and theories, and Endgame came and gave us what we deserved.
