Top Five Most Anticipated Reads {Top Five Thursdays}

Here Is to the first post under this category! Since Ive been struggling with my TBR list I thought why not list a few of my most anticipated reads. Of course, I would be lying if i said this was even half the list. You know how TBRs works.

It’s the story of two teens in a broken world, where violent acts breed actual monsters. Some are shadows with teeth that feed on flesh and bone. Some are corpses that feed on blood. And some can pass for human. Those feed on souls.

That marvelous piece of work up there was written by the author herself. Because, honestly no amount of trying would get me to write a perfect synopsis for this marvelous book.

This book is exceptionally interesting. why?

  • Did someone say monsters?
  • Its bloody! (do i have a problem? probably)
  • Very dark and brooding. Therefore, this book called to me.
  • No romance? i admit i do like a hint of romance in my books BUT, its nice to see that there’s a story that doesn’t need romance to make it an amazing one.

Are you intrigued yet?

This book gave me a circus kind of vibe AND I LOVE CIRCUSES! I mean I feel like the cover says it all. It practically screams at you. At first this was partially a cover buy, and then I read the synopsis and absolutely had to have it!

Honestly, Ive read so many amazing reviews that just made me want to drop every book im currently reading just to pick it up! (But that would be unfair to my other babies). I am a bit hesitant since I heard this ends in a cliffhanger? Do I like cliffhangers? No, I absolutely do not like cliffhangers but, am I going to wait until the next book is released to read it? Hahahaha. No.

Sarah J. Maas has taken away 14 years of my life with her writing. Every book leaves me crying an ocean. I recently finished throne of glass, and my current read is crown of midnight. The thing is while reading it got me really intrigued to read about Celaenas past which, is in this lovely masterpiece.

5 novellas = a whole lot of pain and suffering. Do I need a better reason to read it? I think not.

I bought this book when I went to Malaysia last year. Have I started it yet? Yes. Yes I have. Have I finished it yet? No.

You see I picked the wrong time to start this book. I was in the biggest slump of  my life and I figured it was a bad time so, I put it on hold so that I wouldn’t end up disliking it (sometimes the circumstances make a decision for you). I will be picking it up after my current read because to be honest, I cant stay away anymore!

Kaz needs a crew desperate enough to take on this suicide mission and dangerous enough to get the job done – and he knows exactly who: six of the deadliest outcasts the city has to offer. Together, they just might be unstoppable – if they don’t kill each other first.

Wasn’t that lovely? I bet it was. Be ready to hear me scream about this book in the near future.

Ah its time to talk about my favorite author of all time. Every book shes written has managed to make me cry an ocean, and I have a feeling this will be no exception.

This book has ten stories in one. Yes you read that right. TEN MARVELOUS STORIES IN ONE. I shall review each story on its own just so I can accurately explain my feelings. Expect some intense flailing.

Real question is which am I going to read first?
